Health Occupations Times Announced

As most of you know,  Crossroads Academy is now offering both dual credit through Ivy Tech and the CNA certification for Health Occupations students.  Unfortunately, this has made it difficult to set up the schedule for next year's classes.  We have finally figured it all out and are happy to announce next year's class times for the Health Occupations Classes:

Health Careers I (Beginning Health Careers and Medical Terminology) in the morning 8-10 am at Crossroads Academy

Health Careers I and II (Dosage calculations and Medical Law and Ethics) in Knox from 7:30-9:30 am C.S.T.

Health Careers I 1-3 pm at Crossroads Academy

Health Careers II (C.N.A. program) 1-3 pm at Crossroads Academy

Please contact Jona Cartwright at 574-936-8834 or email her at jcartwright@crossroadsacademy.com if you have any questions about these exciting programs!

Success Stories of Crossroads Academy Graduates

Crossroads Academy has provided a wide range of educational opportunities, from basic technology and vocational studies to advanced certification programs giving students of all ages throughout Michiana real world training to achieve success and professional growth. Hear from the success stories, told by graduates.

"The hands on experience and skills I gained from the Microsoft Certification studies at Crossroads Academy gave me a strong starting point to an enriching career."

- Nathan Dunning, Crossroads Academy graduate and Computer Engineer, Hewlett Packard

"Deciding to enroll in the vocational program at Crossroads Academy was one of the best decisions I made during my high school career. The certifications I earned from their technology programs are still a highlight of my resume and differentiate me from other applicants. Becoming a Microsoft Certified professional is a great way to jumpstart a career or to make yourself more marketable for an advancement. Despite the significance of earning two Microsoft certifications, the problem solving skills I developed taking classes at Crossroads Academy was probably the most valuable ability I learned. I have benefited in all of my college classes, whether it be public speaking or performing binary operations, from taking the MCSA course. I would highly suggest this program to anyone that has an interest in computers."

- Tom Young, 2009 Crossroads Academy graduate
